Documentation for O3 Discovery Papers Data Release



This release includes data associated with notable events in O3 initially published outside of main catalogs. These may contain preliminary versions of data quality segments and calibration. When available, updated versions of these data products will be included in catalog paper releases.

GW190425:

  • For the parameters mass_1_source and mass_2_source, the published values of the 90% credible intervals use a different convention than what is shown on the GWOSC web site. See the Table 1 caption in the GW190425 discovery paper for details.

GW190412:

  • Parameter estimation samples are available in DCC. Note that this is an update of the parameter estimation samples from July 2020. The first public version can be found here

  • This version of the data release was used in estimates of the significance of GW190412.

  • This version of the data release includes subtraction of noise contributions from non-linear coupling of the 60 Hz power mains. This version of the data release was used in analyses of the source properties of GW190412.

GW190521:
